On a hot, humid, 90+ degree day that more resembled August than April, Nick Taylor joined DCVelo's Brian Marchionini and 4 others in a move that went clear of the field shortly after the first of five trips up the Mt. Nebo climb. This would prove to be decisive first move of the day as the group rolled well and gained as much as a couple-minute advantage over the field by the midway point of the race. Text

The Capital Cross Classic, held under cloudy skies on Sunday December 4th, 2016 at Lake Fairfax in Reston, was the final race in the MABRA Super 8 cross series. This year's course was different than in past years and unlike past years there was no mud or snow. It was a fast hard course with pavement, gravel, a ridable stair run-up, and some really fun chicanes and drops. Text
I was sporting my recently acquired Verge Mabra Super 8 leader's jersey and my new Giant TCX Pro 1 a couple of Sundays ago at the Ed Sander Memorial Cyclocross race at Lily Pons. I picked the bike up on Saturday afternoon from the fantastic folks at Conte's and raced it 24 hours later. Text
As most racers will tell you the features of a race mean a lot less than the people you are racing against. It is the riders who make the race and that was certainly the case at the 2015 MABRA Senior Criterium Championships in Frederick, MD. Team Beyer Auto, traveling in it's newly delivered 2015 Volvo XC 60 provided by Beyer Automotive Group arrived on-site knowing that Kelly Benefits Strategy had a full squad fresh in from Senior Nationals and expecting to dominate the race. What they didn't know was that we had brought our secret weapon, a motivated squad and had an exceptional plan. Text

The day was host to great racing and good showings by Team Beyer Auto racers in a variety of classes and categories. A huge thanks to all of our sponsors. Without them none of what we do would be possible. Neil Marcus provided his extensive insight into how his day went stating, "got in the break, effed up the sprint". He also gave huge cudos to teammate Dan Crocker who was with him in the break, working tirelessly. As for the 65+ podium sweep, Suart Ross had this to say: Text
